Summary | 0000862: Picking when using both 2D and 3D actors reverses all faces/render order.
Description | Using either Annotation/Tcl/labeledMesh.tcl or Annotation/Python/labeledMesh.py, rotate the sphere, then pick using the 'p'-key, anywhere. This will reverse all faces of the sphere. In a more elaborate example with several 3D-actors, all actors will be rendered in reverse direction, making far away actors overlap close ones. This has been tested on Debian SID/Unstable with packages vtk-examples, vtk-tcl, python-vtk and libvtk4, all having version 4.2.6-1.

Are you able to reproduce it with Mesa ? (export LD_PRELOAD=/opt/Mesa/libGL.so). If so please provide a screenshot as I cannot reproduce on my side (fedora core 1, VTK CVS). |
