As a counterpoint to Ron Inbar's statemtents, we could be happy
that the documentation is sparse: Only those who
persevere will succeed... everyone else can spend way too much money
on the alternatives.... I doubt the developers
share
this view, but being in a small business, I'm happy to find any advantage
that deters giants from squashing me and poor documentation is just
that sort of deterent.... Also, it provides a market... I, or anyone
else with the perseverence to do so, can write the "good" guide
and
reap the benefits therefrom.
Still, the User's Guide is the best thing available currently,
aformentioned weaknesses notwithstanding.
