This question is not really very important but
I find this very strange.

I saved two vtsStructuredPoints data sets with 
the same dimension and spacing but one with scalar 
type of VTK_UNSIGNED_CHAR and the other with 
VTK_UNSIGNED_SHORT.
The strange thing is that the size of the vtk file
with VTK_UNSIGNED_CHAR was almost twice that with
VTK_UNSIGNED_SHORT scalars. I could have bid a lot
of money that it should be the other way around!!

Am I doing something wrong or is it that vtk saves
the two in two different format and hence the file 
size ambiguity?
