<P>If you have a relatively recent version of VTK (I don't know if this made it into 3.2), you can simply use OffScreenRenderingOn() with your render window before your first render and you should be ok. You can freely change between on-screen and off-screen by setting OffScreenRendering to on/off. You can then attach a window-image filter and dump the result into a file without displaying anything on the screen.</P>
