<DIV> my solution to this was to create 3 instances of vtkAxes, turn on the X, Y and Z axis respectively (and turn off the others), see SetXAxisVisibility etc, then colour the resulting actors as I desired. It seems a bit heavy handed, but it works and I dont know of a better way.</DIV>
