Hello,

I'm at the same time learning vtk and getting ready to buy a
laptop to be my general purpose machine. I'm leaning toward
a Macintosh Powerbook since I like Macs, but I want to make
sure that OSX is at least a reasonable platform for running
vtk applications. Would anyone care to comment? If it is at
least a workable platform, then I'd be interested in trying
to integrate some Altivec and Quartz Extreme optimizations
into the port.	Since my company is closing its Santa Fe office,
I seem to have found myself temporarily free of a job after
this week, with some time on my hands :-)
