<P>I am new to vtk and i recently downloaded the 4.2 version fron the net. I was able to generate the project using cmake and successfully build vtk.dsw. But when i try to run the examples to learn how vtk works it gives me the following error:</P>
<P>The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142)....Clicon ok to terminate the application</P>
<P>I have set the system path as /vtkbin/bin/debug and the environment variable for TCLLIBPATH as /vtk/wrapping/tcl </P>
<P>Is there something wrong with these settings or is there any other setting(s) which i may have skipped for this error to occur. </P>
