I am using DecimatePro and would like to disconnect the output vtkPolyData from the filter before destroying the latter one. Is it OK to do this by getting the Pointer with pDecimatePro->GetOutput() and incrementing the Reference Count by 1? What is the "official means" of doing this?<br>
