I did not get your example. Let me post my question again:

Basically I am struggling to read and display raw image data. I have a set of files. Each file corresponds to a slice. Each file has integers where each integer is a region ID for a corresponding pixel. For example, a 2 X 2 file might have values 2 4 4 2, where 4 pixels of an image belong to regions 2 or 4.

I need to be able to:

1) read such image data as a volume

2) display this image volume

3) display a certain segmented region of the volume (Example, I want to display all pixels belonging to region # 2)

Please help!

Thanks,

Vidya
