<div><font face="Arial" size="2">I am new to vtk. I'm using Python to write my
applications. Currently I'm exploring color mapping with vtk. To become familiar
with color mapping I'd like to color the surface of a sphere. I have values for
each point on the sphere. I have an idea of how to go about
this but I'm not sure how to write the code. I believe I need to put my values
into an array and then some how use these values with a lookup table and
then map the corresponding colors to the points on sphere. </font></div>

<div><font face="Arial" size="2">If someone could give me an idea of how to do this
I would be very grateful. </font></div>
