this is a vtk-users mailing list, so vtk developers also read it. <br>
I guess you can ask them via the mailing list if it's possible to add
this features on the mapper; this is one of the great advantages of
open source ;)

team of VTK. It was only a
mod by myself (something I read in a paper), so this seems to be the
way MIP is
commonly done with TextureMapping (and it works without problems so
far). </span></font></p>

submit this to the guy that wrote
the mapper. I think this would be a feature that a lot of people would
