Maybe the polydata pointer is invalid? Or maybe there is some issues<br>
with using smart pointers. Try this:<br>
<br>
vtkFieldData* FieldData = polydata->GetFieldData();<br>
<br>
where polydata is not a smart pointer.<br>

</blockquote></div><br></div></blockquote><div><br>Berk,<br><br>I switched everything TO smart pointers and then it worked. Interesting... I guess the moral of the story is always use smart pointers, so you don't have to worry about what happens when you mix smart pointers and regular pointers.<br>
