Hi Marf,
I was thinking, may be you could use the image as an Image actor and set its opacity while rendering,
using Actor->SetOpacity(float)

Thanks,
Vikrant Manne

On Thu, Aug 13, 2009 at 9:51 AM, Anka Kochanowska <anka@bic.mni.mcgill.ca> wrote:
I am doing it just synchronizing the planes with images. Then I have separate controls for color and opacity for every image. I use vtkImageReslice to put the data in the "same" (synchronized) plane, which forces me to use the same spacing, so on one of my images I loose resolution.

Hi Anka,

thanks for your email, but your proposal doesn't fix my problem. I've been playing with vtkImageBlend, but it changes the opacity of all the image.

I'm trying other things. I'll post my experience.
Best regards and thank you very much again.
Hi!
You could use vtkImageBlend.
Hi all,

Perhaps this is an obvious question, but I've been playing with textures and lookuptables but I didn't get what I was looking for. I don't know where I'm wrong.

I would like to overlay two images (a color/graylevel image and its segmented version), and then I would like to change the opacity of any label or change its color. Could anybody give me any hint?.

Thank you very much.
Best regards.
