I have seen this problem had been asked before, and I happen to have the exact problem with <A href="http://www.vtk.org/pipermail/vtkusers/2009-February/099521.html">http://www.vtk.org/pipermail/vtkusers/2009-February/099521.html</A> <BR>
I have installed following:<BR>
cmake-2.8.0-win32-x86.exe<BR>
MinGW-5.1.6.exe full<BR>
<BR>
extracted vtk-5.4.2 sources and built them with cmake<BR>
<BR>
set the necessary path variables <BR>
<BR>
When I build vtk's already given cxx examples (which come with build_examples selection) with Cmake, it succesfully builds.<BR>
But when it comes to make command(mingw32-make.exe) in the built folder it gives this error: "/usr/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -lvtkRendering".<BR>
Actually it s not spesific to -lvtkRendering, i have seen it raising other -lvtk... errors.<BR>
I will be pretty glad if anyone comes up with a solution for this.<BR>
