</div>I know that I'm not the Dave you asked for, but I noticed that the<br>
vtk-5.6.0-tar.gz has dos line endings on all the files. My old<br>
tarball of vtk-5.4.2 had unix line endings. Not sure if the NIB<br>
corruption is related to this.<br>
