Hi,<br>please, keep the mailing list as recipient so as the community to be able to participate.<br>I don't know much about the medical1.cpp example, but I guess that:<br>1- The VTK image reader that is used gives you good indication on the image file format (if this is the question)<br>

I answered 10 days ago in such a thread you initiated: You can use SetFilenames
in the vtkJPGImageReader in order to get a 3D vtkImageData.<br>
If this not clear enough, please ask a precise question about your problem, not
