<font><font face="verdana,sans-serif">You probably need to determine a plane which passes through your 2 points, which you will then use to cut your surface and thus get a "straight" line. However plane is not defined by 2 points but rather 3, so you either pick a 3rd point at random or minimize length of this intersection with your surface.<br>
