<div dir="ltr">Hi David,<div><br></div><div style>Well, to be honest, there is no strict requirement to use Python 3</div><div style>at the moment. On the other hand, developments on the 2.7 branch</div><div style>are stopped (although bug-fixes and support will remain for a while).</div>

<br>
Can you give your reasons for requiring Python 3?<br>
<br>
I want to add Python 3 support, but I'm busy with other projects<br>
that are much higher priority. So I will probably not add support for<br>
Python 3 until it becomes the primary python shipped with OS X<br>
(because OS X is the platform that I'm developing products on these<br>
days). The latest release of OS X still uses python 2.7.<br>
<br>
When the time comes, I'll require a lot of help to convert all of the<br>
VTK python tests and examples so that they are compatible with<br>
both python 2 and python 3.<br>
