Does anyone have an autoconf solution supporting VTK6?
More generally, what's the problem with providing a high level library that effectively links all VTK dependencies so that we can simple -lvtk rather than having to work out the dependencies for every release of VTK? It's not a very practical position to insist that any application that depends on VTK must use cmake for its build system.
