Summary0010236: Icon spacing wrong on Mac
DescriptionI have recently noticed that the icon spacing on my Mac build of ParaView has changed significantly. If you look at the attached image, you will see that a bunch of padding is now added to all the toolbar icons whereas that padding does not exist in 3.6.

The issue is the Carbon Qt. Since now we are supporting Cocoa Qt, it's not a major issue.

I just went through the pain of building my own version of Qt with Cocoa support on, and I am still having this issue.

I remember now, Berk and I did that deliberately, because the 3.6 setting with Cocoa was causing the toolbar to look too tiny and icons getting clipped. We may want to investigate different settings to come up with a acceptable padding.

Although the spacing is larger on Macs, it's inline with other mac-apps. Feel free to open if not acceptable.

I'm still not thrilled with the new spacing, but I will concede that this is a matter of opinion. To that end, I have raised a suggestion on UserVoice to see if anyone else cares:
