If this is implemented, I recommend that if there is no selection for the shown data set, that the "show only selected elements" button becomes disabled and that all the data is shown in this case. If this change was not also made, then the spreadsheet window would almost always come up blank.

Like Ken said, if we implement this the spreadsheet will mostly show up blank. Now that the user change change to "show selected only" directly from the view's title-bar itself -- which is just a quick single click, I wonder if we still need to make this change.

I think I can live with current behavior, especially since there is value in the spreadsheet (since it is now sortable). Lets leave as is, unless someone requests a change.
