Summary0010266: Fix progress reporting
DescriptionFix progress reporting in parallel and progress reporting on Mac.

On Mac, progress reporting does not work with Mac. To fix, we need to make sure that none of widgets cause progress reporting from inside paint. This may require forcing renders before paint happens. For some technical reason I don't understand, it is not possible to update a widget (the progress bar) from inside the paint method of another.
