Summary0010382: Funny interaction when click outside the axes
DescriptionIn the new chart, your click (or click and drag) starting from a point outside the two axes i.e. left or bottom, then release the mouse button does result in the chart leaving the pan mode.

The mouse button was not reset if the press event was rejected in the release event. Fixed in VTK/Charts/vtkContextScene.cxx 1.15.
