Cool!

There are issues where you don't get this menu when you select objects that have been moved.

Can.exo. Apply. Z-. Now, 2d rotate 30 degrees. Click on the upper corner. Doesn't work.

Could not reproduce the issue. May have been fixed since.

Fixed on trunk. Tested Windows, local server.
