Summary0011218: ParaView-3.8/3.9: Problems with SurfaceLIC
DescriptionIn both versions the SurfaceLIC module is more or less unusable. It is extremely slow compared to Paraview-3.6 with vtk-Edge.

Update:

Problem occurs on one machine with NVIDIA Quadro FX4000 graphics card. On another machine with Geforce 8800 GT it works o.k.

There seems to be an issue with newest NVIDIA-drivers. After installing newest drivers (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-256.53.run) it doesn't work at all (Paraview crashes). Maybe a driver bug. With NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-195.36.24-pkg2.run it worked.
