Summary0011359: Transfer function editor is painful when working remotely
DescriptionWhen working on a remote cluster modifying the transfer function through the GUI is painful because after each minor tweak PV re-renders which can a substantial amount of time depending on the dataset and network connection. eg. Working with 1GB scalar array and a 1MB/s connection a render update can take 10-30sec. It's basically unusable when working remotely.

Adding a checkbox to disable immediate update during tranfer function editing would be an easy fix.
