Summary0012024: warning is issued when data vector has more than 3 components
DescriptionWarning: In /home/kitware/Kitware/ParaView-3.10/source/VTK/Filtering/vtkDataSetAttributes.cxx, line 1052
vtkPointData (0x2b4fd10): Can not set attribute Vectors. Incorrect number of components.

As I can see it from source, Vectors can have exactly 3 components, otherwise this warning is issued. On the other hand, scalars can have unlimited number of components, which is counter intuitive when writing output to *.vtu.
