Summary0012132: Two different readers have confusingly similar names "RAW Files" and "Raw (binary)"
DescriptionPerhaps the name for the vtkVisItRAWReader should be made distinct from the Raw (binary) reader so that users do not choose the visit reader by accident.

A further problem is that in the "Open Data With..." dialog, the RAW Files reader is listed way before the Raw (binary) reader, so it's easy to choose the wrong one. I also reported a bug to sort the list of readers, so at least then the user would see both the Raw readers together and might notice the choice. http://www.vtk.org/Bug/view.php?id=12131 [^]

This is true for many readers in general (I had problems when I loaded the Analyze plugin in ParaView). Maybe we start showing the classnames in the list showing the reader choices or something like that.
