DescriptionDisplaying multiple surfaces in the same view is problematic. Each surface is displayed correctly, but the relationship between the surfaces is not correct; for example, if one surface should be twice as high as the first, it will not be shown shifted the correct amount and will be distorted.

Also allow the user to exactly control the world scaling factor from the gui.

User control of world scaling works well.

For display of multiple surfaces see issue 12381.

Request that in the view control of rescaling, the values shown are absolute values even when log scaling of a variable has been selected.

Note that on the threshold sliders for density and temperature on the properties panel, the original values are shown even when log scaling has been selected.
