    Fixed BUG 0012583. Fixed artifacts in render view when app starts up.
    
    There were a couple of unnecessary renders that were happenning before the
    widget was shown. Consequently, The QVTKWidget ended up caching a bogus image
    and hence the issue. Fixed that by removing those stray renders.

I use to see this, but it seems to be fixed.

For instance, just tested remote server, Linux, master.
