Summary0005621: Printing destroys the View in the VTK MFC examples.
DescriptionThis applies to the examples VTKMDI.exe and VTKSDI.exe. If print previes os called it works Ok and displays the pages Ok. However upon closing print preview the view is not restored. In other words the displayed object is lost. I suspect it is some problem in either SetupMenoryRendering() or ResumeScreenRendering()
Steps To ReproduceStart one of these programs (vtkMDI.exe or vtkSDI.exe), open a file say brainImageSmooth.vtk and then select Print Preview.
The preview is Ok.
Close it.
And the view is empty (no brain image). However the 2D Actor is precent and the text is present.
