Summary0005736: Exodus reader should support attributes
DescriptionThe vtkExodusIIReader currently supports results variables defined over objects but does not support time-invariant attributes. These should be supported as additional block arrays. They are currently only defined over blocks (not sets or maps).

Additional InformationThe Exodus documentation SAND92-2137 (Version updated 3/21/2006) contains information on attributes in section 4.8.3 (Element attributes), including a table of common attributes by element type.
