| Summary | 0005855: confusing names in the View menu | ||||
| Description | First, it is unclear what a "View" is when we have things named View under the View menu which are not "Views". Can we rename the Animation View and Statistics View to something else, or promote them to proper "Views". Second, the distinction between Browser and Inspector is fairly clear if somewhat esoteric. Do we have to make any distinction? Can't we call them all either Browswers or Inspectors or Panels? Third we have an Animation Inspector and an Animation View, which do similar things, albeit with different interfaces. Can we either get rid of the old one, or make it so that we have one panel under the menu and make the choice of UI changeable? That way it would be very clear where to go when you want to set up the animation, and the user do so with whichever interface they find more intuitive. | ||||
