Summary0007635: vtk 5.2.0: problems with keyboard interaction
DescriptionAfter upgrading from vtk 5.0.4 to vtk 5.2.0 i noticed problems with the keyboard interaction. Not all keyboard interaction fails, just interaction with widgets e.g. vtkImagePlaneWidget - mouse interaction works e. g. changing level and window or moving the plane through a dataset - keyboard interaction with the rendering window works e. g. pressing "p" for picking or pressing "s" for surface view ... but enabling / disable a vtkImagePlaneWidget with a defined key fails. I have tested two different compilers (VC++ 2008 Express Edition and CodeGear C++ Builder 2007) - same effect for both. I'm using a 64bit vista system, but same behaviour happens on a 32bit vista machine.

The behaviour can be reproduced with the TCL script "ImagePlaneWidget.tcl" from VTK-5.2.0\Examples\GUI.

Other widgets are also affected.
