Summary0007875: Log scales of negative numbers
DescriptionIf the entire range of a variable is less than zero, it should be possible to apply a log scale. In this case the log scaling should follow the negated values of the scalars.

Is this feature request still active? Will behavior confuse users w/regard to 0 in range?

I agree that it probably only makes sense to fix this issue if you are also (somehow) enabling ranges that cross 0. That would be a nice feature, but there does not seem to be a huge demand for it. To (sort of) verify this, I added an item to the ParaView UserVoice:
