DescriptionIt would be really nice to have a persistent view setting that will always turn on or off the show cube axes, and would remember what type of cube axes that the user wants.

Do you really want this? It would become confusing when showing multiple data sources in the view.

I think so. If the user really does find cube axis confusing, they turned it on originally - they can turn it off.

Maybe there is a case for changing the behavior to be a view-centric thing rather than a display-centric thing. That is, rather than put the bounding box around individual objects, have one per view that is sized around all visible objects in the view. This would also be more consistent with the axes in chart views and could share similar sizing and tick options.

I like Ken's suggestion, rather than have 10s of cube-axes for 10s of representations in the view.

We already did this! Cube axes is now dead. Axes Grid is now 1 per view and sized around all visible data.
