Summary0009257: plots don't handle partial arrays
DescriptionAn easy way to see this is as follows:
* Open can.exo. All variables on. Apply.
* Open disk_out_ref.exo. All variables on. Apply.
* Select can.exo and disk_out_ref.exo. Filters/ Group Datasets.
* Filters/ Plot Over Line. Apply.
* On the display tab (and thus the plot), notice that Temp (from disk_out_ref.exo) and EQPS (cell data, from can.exo) do not show up as options.

This is fairly common functionality that should be fixed for 3.6.2, if possible.
