Summary0009448: Paraview gives error on startup with newer nvidia drivers - opengl 1.4 deprecated
DescriptionWhen paraview starts, I get the following messages:

Generic Warning: In /var/tmp/portage/sci-visualization/paraview-3.6.1-r1/work/build/VTK/Rendering/vtkgl.cxx, line 4465
Nothing known about extension GL_VERSION_1_4_DEPRECATED. vtkgl may need to be updated.


ERROR: In /var/tmp/portage/sci-visualization/paraview-3.6.1-r1/work/ParaView3/VTK/Rendering/vtkOpenGLExtensionManager.cxx, line 343
vtkOpenGLExtensionManager (0x157b240): Extension GL_VERSION_1_4 could not be loaded.

I have not tested to consequences of this (may be software rendering only?)

I have the same issue and believe this is responsible for my weird screenshots, as the error messages reappear when I take one.
