About Me

My name is Jim Peterson, I am a software developer with over 20 years experience. I have produced solutions from mainframe accounting and software measurement systems to middle-ware solutions to personal computer and handheld systems. My interest in VTK is mostly to bring 3d vistualization to accounting and measurement data traditionally presented as tabular data.

I promote technology exposure in our schools, and recommend anyone that has gotten to this page to look at http://www.botball.org and see if they might be interested in some volunteer time. Mentors for middle school and high school robotics teams are always needed. The anual botball challenge involvs automonous robot performed tasks with vision, sensing and navigation problems addressed. Just no remote control!.
