Yes, I have checked CVS tree yestoday. I read the related codes, but didn't find any modification.

Have you tried with the CVS (5.1.0) version of VTK?

Oggetto: [vtk-developers] about stereo mode and parameters
Hi, all
I have posted this on paraview newslist, but I think it may be vtk problem.
-----------------------------------
I have built a polarized passive stereo display system based on one computer equiped with two projectors. It works well in side-by-side mode stereo. Recently I installed paraview as one application on it with some modificaiton made paraview to support side-by-side stereo. The modification is very simple : just split the viewport into two parts and show the left-eye image and right-eye image side-by-side. Although it works, its stereo effect is not good, especial when scaling objects. I wish an effect like flying over the objects, so is it necessary to set the stereo parameters on flying?
I read the codes calculating stereo pair in paraview. Its major part is in the function
void vtkPerspectiveTransform::Shear(double dxdz, double dydz, double zplane)
I think this is a toe-in stereo pair generating model, which is not quite good, is it so?
