[vtk-developers] VTK_MAX_THREADS on Windows platform

Hello vtk-devs,

i have a question about the VTK_MAX_THREADS define in
"Common/vtkSystemIncludes.h" under Windows. It is defined as 8, but
for all other platforms to 32. What is the cause for this
non-conformity?

On modern PC with 12 or 16 physical cores it is a waste of processing
power... Shouldn't it be increased to 32?
