[vtkusers] getting started with vtk:bad installation?

hallo,
i'm a new user of vtk. or i'm trying to. i just installed it, and i 
wanted to start with the simplest example of the book. That is, 
visualazing the cone. so i open wish82.exe, i go to the examples folder 
and type:
source Cone.tcl
and lo! a message that says a memory position couldn't be read appears. 
anybody has a clue of what's happening?
