[vtkusers] Compiling VTKNightly with VolumePro support

Hi,

Ive been trying to compile the VTKNightly sources to include the volume 
pro support with no success.  I have header files for the vp500 and 
vp1000 along with corresponding libs and dlls but when I run the compile 
  it complains of hundreds of ambiguous symbols.

Can anyone else confirm this behavior or tell me where I might be going 
wrong?
