[vtkusers] vtkImageData::GetNumberOfScalarComponents()

If you have a gray-scaled image then your image has 1 scalar component (just
the gray level) and if you have a colored image then your image has 3 scalar
components (RGB, HSV, HSI, etc). GetNumberOfScalarComponents will tell you
this number.
