[vtkusers] displaying images with coordinates / axes

Hello again !

Is there any standard way in VTK to add a coordinate
system with axis to an image ?
Our requirements are that the axes are always visible
and scale with the image.

Furthermore, the look should be highly configurable.
(Minor / Major ticks etc.)
