[vtkusers] Filter for binary mask from points

Hi

Is there any filter in ITK or VTK which generates a binary image ( mask ) of a set of points (vtkPolyData or itk::Mesh). I want the user to select a region of interest with points (could be convex or concav) and want to calculate a binary image with false outside of that point set and true for inside. Ihe output could also be a spatial object.
