[vtkusers] Can VTK perform faster with graphics card?

Hi all,

Can VTK perform faster with graphics card or its usefule only for specific
and high quality rendering? Right now I use a XP computer which has no
graphics card.When I add too many actors the update seems to be bit slow,
can it be improved with a graphics card?
