Summary0000729: Quadric clustering bad or VERY bad output
DescriptionAt least for a particular dataset, vtkQuadricClustering is very sensitive to the number of divisions specified. For the dataset attached, 50, 50, 50 produces reasonable results with UseInputPointsOn, but the results are obviously squirrelly if 50,45,50 is used (with UseInputPointsOn). With UseInputPointsOff, 50,50,50 produces very large numbers resulting in unviewable output (at least in Paraview).

There has been some resolution to the bad output... it is now fixed when UseInputPoints is On (there was a bug in computing the binId in HashPoints that affected the results whether UseInputPoints was On or Off). The output still "bad" if UseInputPoints is Off.
