| Summary | 0007449: wrong display of a plane with texture on Core 2 Duo, 1280x800 pixel | ||||||||
| Description | I have very strange stuff happening with my visualization, In my app I draw a plane with a cylinder normal to it. Everything is displayed nice on my home desktop (debian/linux; celeron D; 1280x1024 pixel) my friends desktops one with windows and amd 64bit CPU and another one with Fedora and also on his windows laptop. But the same app with the same parameters on my laptop (debian/linux lenny(testing); Core 2 Duo/1280x800 pixel) displays the cylinder not normal to the plane but with other angle - around 30. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | system: Dell inspiron 1525 laptop OS: debian/linux lenny(testing) CPU: Core 2 Duo LCD: 1280x800 pixel vtk package version: libvtk5 5.0.4-1+b1(testing), libvtk5-dev 5.0.4-1(testing) | ||||||||

the vectors direction in the images are 1,1,1 and normal to the image also... we where able to find a workaround and came to following conclusion: "The vtkImageActor class woks contains a bug. It rotation of the object results wrong picture on some computers. The functions GetRotationWXYZ() returns correct position of the picture. Also it would be fine if you could implement the ImmediateModeRenderingOn() function in this actor. It is necessary for the cases where it is important to visualize the picture in 2 renderers." |
