The following applications are all Kitware products that use VTK:
- ActiViz .NET - Provides developers with the power of VTK plus the many .NET framework objects for web and database access, allowing for the quick creation of production-ready, interactive 3D applications in the .NET environment.
- ActiViz COM - COM users are able to embed VTK’s 3D graphics, image processing, volume rendering and visualizations into any Windows application supporting embeddable controls.
- ITK - An open-source software toolkit for performing registration and segmentation using VTK.
- ParaView - An open-source, multi-platform application designed to visualize data sets using VTK.
- VolView - A system for interactive volume visualization using VTK.
The following applications developed by other organizations are all products that use VTK:
- Osirix - an image processing software dedicated to DICOM images produced by imaging equipment and confocal microscopy.
- 3D Slicer - a multi-platform, free open source software (FOSS) for visualization and image computing.
- BioImageXD - free, open source software for analysis, processing and 3D rendering of multi dimensional microscopy images.
- VisTrails - a scientific workflow and provenance management system developed at the University of Utah that provides support for data exploration and visualization.
- VR-Render - free IRCAD Image Viewer Software for 2D and 3D visualization and volume rendering.
